Itzhak Tordjman (born 1956, Casablanca) is a painter and writer who immigrated to Israel at age five. Influenced by French literature, he pursued his artistic training at the prestigious École nationale supérieure des beaux-arts de Paris (the “Beaux-Arts”) on a scholarship from the French government.
His work has been exhibited in galleries and museums across Europe and North America, including the Grand Palais (Paris), the Bronfman Centre for the Arts (Montreal), and the Scribble Museum (Los Angeles).
He is the recipient of the 1980 UNESCO Award and was named Artist-in-Residence at The Cité Internationale des Arts, Paris, France in 1982.
He has also taught art within the Paris Academy framework.
